A Simple Condensation Model for the H <sub>2</sub> SO <sub>4</sub> ‐H <sub>2</sub> O Gas‐Cloud System on Venus

The current Venus climate is largely regulated by globally-covered concentrated sulfuric acid clouds from binary condensation of (H2SO4) and water (H2O). To understand this complicated H2SO4-H2O gas-cloud system, previous theoretical studies either adopted microphysical calculations or assumed that both H2SO4 H2O vapor follow their saturation pressure. In study, we developed a simple one-dimensional cloud model including condensation, diffusion sedimentation but without detailed microphysics. Our able to explain the observed vertical structure upper haze mass loading, acidity, H2SO4, vapor, mode-2 particle size on Venus. We found most stored in condensed phase above 48 km, while partitioning between complicated. cycle mostly driven evaporation rather than about seven times stronger photochemical cycle. Most evaporated before falling particles reach middle clouds. acidity affected temperature condensation-evaporation cycles H2O. Because large chemical production relatively inefficient simulated 60 km supersaturated more two orders magnitude, which could be tested future observations.

H$^*$-condition on the set of submodules of a module

In this work, we introduce $H^*$-condition on the set of submodules of a module. Let $M$ be a module. We say $M$ satisfies $H^*$ provided that for every submodule $N$ of $M$, there is a direct summand$D$ of $M$ such that $(N+D)/N$ and $(N+D)/D$ are cosingular.
